Miranda Moon’s vivid imagination has gotten her into trouble more times than she can count. This time, she’s been suspended from school. It’s been a year since Miranda and Marcus returned home, but Wunderwood is no longer the peaceful place they left. It seems thwarting Thornton Crow has had an unforeseen consequence: the Tree of Mindala is dying. As the magic fades, the deathly Sickness threatens the lives of Wunderwood’s citizens. The only way to save them—and Wunderwood’s magic—is to plant a new Tree before the original Tree dies. By ancient decree, only the Triad, a special group chosen by magical means, can open the Box that contains the Seeds that must be planted. The only problem is the Triad is broken. Miranda and Marcus are once again called upon for their help. But restoring the Triad will be much easier said than done. And time is running out…
